BIG INCREASE IN AMERICA. TOTAL OF 331,000,000 OUNCES. nlted Press Assn Tel. Copyright LONDON, July 13. In reply to a Parliamentary question, the Chancellor of the Exchequer said that gold reserves in the United States on March 31 amounted to about 331,000,000 fine ounces, of which about 120,000,000 ounces represented the net addition since September, 1931.
