STATION LIGHTING.

PUKEMIRO AND ROTOWARO. HANDLING INCREASED TRAFFIC. The following telegram has been received by the Waikato Times from the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. VV. Lee Martin:— “I have received advice from the Minister of Railways, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, that it has been decided that the Rotowaro and Pukemlro stations and yards, and the Renown Collieries siding shall be electrically lighted. “In conveying this intimation Mr Sullivan stated that investigations show that there Is a considerable goods and passenger traffic handled at these stations during the hours of darkness, and that the installation of electric lighting was warranted on this account.”
