This doll has had an accident of which I'll tell you now. The Furries left her in a field beside (they thought) a cow. The cow was not a cow at all It was a bull instead. The doll had on a scarlet dress .. . Need any more be said? . . . Though Mrs Furry did her best with thread and darning wool She'll never be the doll she was before she met the bull.
