CAPSIZE OF LORRY.
BAMOANS FATALLY INJURED. ACCIDENT CAUSED BY PIO. ’Tnnert Tress Assn.—Elec. Tel. copyrlgnv APIA, May 1. A lorry belonging to the Gold Star Transport Company, in which bananas were being conveyed to the steamer Maui Pomare, capsized when passing through the village of Afega. Two Samoans, owners of the bananas, who were travelling In the lorry were fatally injured. The driver, Leslie Jessop, was not seriously hurt. The accident was caused by a large pig suddenly crossing the road. The driver swerved to avoid hitting it.
