GERMANY’S FEARLESS MAN. A CATHOLIC HERO. (Times Air Mail Service.) LONDON, Feb. 16. Cardinal Faulhaber, who has made another a Hack on Nazi policy, is now regarded by German Roman Catholics as one ot‘ their great national heroes, says the Daily Telegraph. Ilis political sermons have earned him the nam? of “ the most fearless man in Germany.” The Cardinal's fame now draws such crowds to St. Michael'S, Munich, that even standing room cannot he hoped for unless one arrives at least two hours before Ihe service. An interesting legal position is created by the charges brought against the Nazis of violating the Concordat with Rome. The Roman Catholic Church has Ihe right lo bring such cases before the German Supreme Court at Leipzig. it. is unlikely, however, that it will decide to do so.
