VALUES AT PUTARURU. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd . report having held their Putaruru pale jesterday as under: A small yarding of odds and ends in sheep comprising the followings: Fat and forward ewes, 16s 6d; wethers, £1 is; light conditioned store ewes, 11s 3d; fat lambs, £1 ss; full mouthed breeding ewes, ! 6s; cull ewes, 9s; cull lambs, 10s to 14s; old rams, 10s to 12s. A large yarding of cattle comprised practically all fat Jersey and Jersey cross cows and boners. Competition was keen for all sorts and a good shlo resulted with prices on a par with those ruling at other centres. Good quality fat Jersey cross cows made £4 ' 10s to £5 ss; heifers, £5 to £5 lOs; lighter cows. £3 to £4 ss; boners. £1 15s t » £3 10s. A medium yarding of pigs earn© forward comprising chieily porkers. All classes of fat pigs sold at full late rates under keen •ompetition. One prime top weight ha-Mfier made £3 12s, surpassing last week’s quotations by £l.
