SUMMER MEETING CONCLUDED. OHINEWAI TO FAR. LAND. RESPECTFUL'S CHIEF EVENT. The summer meeting of the Waikato Racing Club was concluded at Te Rapa to-day in fine weather. There was another very large attendance and with the track in excellent order the racing was keen and exciting. They finally went ofT to a fairly even start Far Land jumpiug out from yuntsman’s Chorus and Gav Rebel. Crossing the top Clooneen had run to the front and here was followed by Far Land. Huntsman’s Chorus. Very Glad. Stormy Weather, Free Advice, Bronzette, Briori, and Gay Clooneen was still making the pace from Far Land with Very Glad handy in front of Huntsman’s Chorus. Brioni, Stormy Weather and Superior Guard. In a fine finish Fay 1 and did best to hang on and win by a head from the rast finishing Superior Guard, who beat Bronzette by two lengths. Pango had shot to the front from Roxy and Rua King and as they came past the stands Roxy was making play from Stansted, Rua King, Pango, Ruarorm, Valpai, High Quality and Tout le Monde. Ruarorm took up the running as they raced to the back where Roxy was closely followed in front or Valpai, Tout le Monde, Standsted. Pango and High Quality. Roxy was the pilot across the top rrom Rua King, Ruarorm, Valpai. Mio Lume and Pango Tout le Monde then asserted himseir and came into the straight in rront or Ruarorm. Rua King, Curlew. Valpai and Pango. Nothing had a chance with Tout le Monde and he went on to win by two and a-hair lengths from Rua Form who beat High Quality by a neck. Valpai was fourth, in rront or Mio Lume. Roxy. Winner trained by owner, Paeroa. Day Wind gave his best performance for some considerable time when he finished resolutely to win in a tight finish from the favourite. Thnngilamba was slow to move and lost giound and Surella led early rrom Jan Ridd, Paso Robles, Tosh and May song. Racing along the back. Jan Ridd had headed Surella and this pair was showing out from Sir Tommy, .May Song, Tosh, Paso Robles, Day Wind and Fox Moth. Jan Ridd and Surella was clear or Sir Tommy coming to the straight «vtli May Song handily placed in front of Tosh and Day Wind. In a fine finish it appeared that Jan Ridd would carry the day, but. Day Wind finishing fast on the outer got up to win by a neck from Jan Ridd with Paso Robles a length awav third. Tne locally trained Respectful gave bis best exhibit.on to date when he finished on to win in a tight finish with Triune. Lagoon, Dark Shadow, Black Friar and impasto were first to move, Impasto leading along the back front Royal Secret, Dark Shadow. King Neptune, star Artist, sweet Hose, Respectful, .shy. Sinking Fund and Lagoon. Dark Shadow had run up to Impasto as they came across the top where Star Artist had also improved her Neptune, Shy and Respectful. As they .showing out from Sweet Rose with Shy, who had run up third, following in rront of Dark Shadow, Royal Secret and Sinking Fund. In the straight Triune challenged and then Respectful came fast on the outer to win narrowly by a long neck from Triune who beat shy by one and a-hall lengths.
