When Queen Mary was attending a performance of the Passion Play at the Albert Hall to-day, she was told that four-year-old Jean Oxford, who appeared as one of the children of Jerusalem, had exclaimed when she heard that Queen Mary was coming: “ How can a big ship like that get into the Albert Hall?”

The Queen was so delighted that she sent for Joan and laughed with her over the mistake and gave the child a carnation from her bouquet.

Allen, of London, arrived at Vienna to-day, anti was welcomed at the station by the Duke. The Attorney-General of the Duchy of Cornwall, Sir Walter Monckton, has been held up by bad weather and will arrive by train this evening.

A collection of about 40 costumes is beii% taken to the Villa Louviei at Cannes, and from them Mrs Simpson will select her trousseau.
