FRANKLIN SHOW.

WAIKATO SUCCESSES. FURTHER AWARDS GAINED. (Special to Times'). PUKEKOHE, Saturday. Waikato exhibitors gained further successes at the annual show of the Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral Society to-day when the awards were made in the horse section. The entries for the show, just on 3000, were the largest in the history of the society, and the attendance over the two days of the show was in the vicinity oi 14,000. The gate takings amounted to £545, which was £lOl over last year’s total.

Following are the results of classes in the horse section in which Waikato exhibitors were placed in the prize division: Maiden hunters: H. E. Porritt’s Jubilee, 1; S. R. W. Rowe,
