PERSONAL.
The Hon. W. Lee Martin, Minister for Agriculture, will accompany the Minister for Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, on his visit to Ranfurly to-mor_ row to discuss the proposed large irrigation scheme at Maniototo, Central Otago. Sir .Tame's Parr, of Auckland, is visiting Hamilton. Messrs H. Taylor and 11. Sullivan, of Sydney, are at Hie Hamilton Hotel. Mr T. R. Thain, of Guildford, England, who is touring the Dominion, was in Hamilton during the week-end. Mr A. M. Bisley, of Hamilton, left to-day for Wellington where he will attend the Pan-Pacific Conference of Rotarians on March 1. The Rev. P. R. Paris, of Wellington, formerly Minister of St.. Paul’s Church, Hamilton, has been appointed presi-dent-elect of the 1938 New Zealand Methodist Conference. The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. M. .1. Savage, accompanied by the Minister of Labour, the Hon. 11. T. Armstrong. arrived this morning in Dunedin and met several private deputations. lie was entertained to luncheon by the Chamber of ComMessrs D. W. Tate, M. R. Tate ; Grey town), C. J. Hawken (Makoia). Ladd (Auckland) are at the Hamilton Hotel.
