Rainfall for 48 hours ended 9 o’clock this morning, .00in. Rainfall for previous 24 ■hours, .00in. Rainfall for February to date, 1.32in. Average rainfall for February, 3.10in. Rainfall for year to date, 7.28in. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32in. SPECIAL FORECAST. (By Govt. Meteorologist). The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WaikatoThames Valley is as follows: Forecast: North-east to northerly winds, light to moderate but freshening. Weather fair and warm but clouding over and later some scattered rain probable. Seas slight to moderate. General inference: An anticyclone still covers the Dominion but is losing intensity and is moving slowly eastwards. A depression is located over the western Tasman Sea.
