Miss K. Lucas, of Nelson, was a visitor, to Te Awamutu en route to Auckland on holiday.
Miss iluia Empson lias been appointed to the Ngaruawahia dental clinic. • • • • Mrs J. T. Johnson, of Pirongia, who has been visiting Wairarapa, has returned.
Miss M. Kay, of Parawera, has been appointed .to the staff of the Frankton school.
Miss Ethel Davis, of the staff of the Te Toko native school, has left Te Awamutu after a visit to her mother, Airs W. H. Davis. Miss Davis has lately been promoted second assistant at Te Toko.
Alisses M. Hawkins and B. ’Ryburn, and Miss L. Ahier, of Auckland (formerly of Te Awamutu), have relumed to Wellington to continue their studies at the denial clinic. WHITIKAHU. Mrs W. Law and family have returned from a holiday at the beach. Mrs B. Dean lias returned from a fortnight’s holiday tour. Mrs T. Kemp, of Papatoetoe, is the guest of Mrs Anion. v Miss Barbara Coleman, who has been holidaying in Taranaki, returned with her parents last week. Mrs n. McCallum and family have returned home from a long holiday spent at Hie beach.
