Sir Basil Brooke, Minister of Agri—culture iu Northern Ireland, on his arrival in Sydney from New Zealand said the agricultural methods in New Zealand and Australia were as modern as any in the world. New Zealand appeared to be far ahead in grass breeding. He was having samples of white clover and rye sent to Ireland for experimental purposes.
