WEDDING.

WALLACE—HAY. The marriage was solemnised at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Cam: bridge. mst evening, between Frances Lindsay Hay. 3'0111186!‘ daughter or Mrs E. J. Peaiie, and the late Mr L. h. i-lay, of .\iaungaiautari, and James Dunning, second son of Mr andVMrs T. H. \\'allace, of Victoria Road, Liam—bridge. The nmciating clergyman was the vicar, the Rev. U. W. Chandler, and Mr A. Boyce presided at the organ. The church had been beautifully decorated by relatives and friends. The bride, who entered the church with Mr Ev. J. Peake, wore a beautifUl gown of magnolia slipper satin, cut on very rlassical lines. The fullness of the shirt was caught in the front in deep tucks continuing into the bodice to form a soft neckline and the long train gored from below the knees was beautifully appliqued with a deep border of lace in a leaf design. The slee\'es carried out the tucked line of the bodice. The lovely veil of tulle. in the same deep tone as the satin, was caught to a tiny cap ap—pliqued with leth‘S and outlined with seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of trailing roses. The bride was attended by five bridesmaids. They were Misses Joan Ross (cousin oi‘ the bride, ~, , Sybil \\'al—lace (sister of the bridegroom), Mary Peake and Thelma and Laura Browne (cousins of the bride). They wore similar frocks of sapphire blue chifl‘on. The soft t‘ull hortict‘s were allied to the draped skirts :lny deep plaques nf stitching in front. sprays of flowers in amethyst and cyclamen tunings bu—lng creased into the bodices. The unusual headdresses were worn well back, and draped to the left shoulder and they carried sheaves of contrast« ins flowers. Mr Thomas Wallace, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The ushers were Messrs. K. vPeake, W. Scott, J. Kerr and T. Wallace. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Parish Hall, the bride's mother receiving the guests wearing a. a frock of cigar brown embroidered suede and a smart brown straw hat mounted with bird of paradise. She carried a posy of tuning flowers. Mrs Wallace. mother of the bridegroom, was wearing .a charming gown of brown angeiskln lace, with a brown panne velvet coaiee. She wore a hat to tone and carried a posy of autumn tinted flowers. The bride's grandmother. Mrs M. Hicks, wore a frock of black crepe dr- rhine with a blark hat, to match. and carried a posy of autumn tinted flowers. The sister or the bride. Mrs Earl Johnston, oi’ Matamata. wore a gown of beige lace and ninon. with cape of fox fur to match, and nigger brown straw hat. When Mr and Mrs J. D. Wallace left for the honeymoon the bride travelled in a hyacinth blue cloque frock, gold studded at the neckline and waist. with which was worn a beige squirrel cape. and tiny hat of velvet flowers in the same tonings as the frock.’ The invited guests were:——Mr and Mrs Earl Johnston (Piarere).
