The fourth volume published for the guidance of the League of Nations by the Nutrition Committee reveals I hat the people ot' British Empire countries are the largest eaters of meat. New Zealand leads with an annual per capita consumption of 2361 b. After her come Australia. 2021 b.; Candada. 1441 b.; and Britain. 1401 b. The United States, with 1361 b. per capita leads foreigners and next come Denmark. 1201 b: Germany, llolb.. The largest consumer of sugar is Denmark. 1201 b. per capita. After her are Britain. I 101 b; Australia, 1071 b: and United States, 1031 b. The llgures for milk are: Switzerland 58 gallons per capita; United States, 39 gallons; Denmark, 36 gallons; New Zealand, 28 gallons; Britain, France and German v, 23 gallons each.
Woods of more than 22.000 different kinds haw now been classified, and cattle-food, sweets, cloth, and motor fuel have been made from some of t IICHI.
