BASKETBALL TOURNEY.
FINAL ENDB IN DRAW. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ROTORUA, Monday. Twenty-four teams from all parts of the North Island completed in the Rotorua Basketball Association’s annual tournament for Kurungaituku, a carved Maori trophy, which concluded at the week-end. The final between Wellington and Napier resulted in a draw, eight all, and it was decided that each team should hold the trophy for six months in the ensuing year. A feature of the tournament was a parade of the participating teams through the town headed by the Municipal Band and carrying banners.
