ENTERTAINING PROGRAMME. An entertaining programme was presented at a meeting of the To Awamutu Orphans’ Club on Saturday evening, when Mr E. W. White presided and accorded u welcome to visitors from Paerou, Auckland and Cambridge. The programme was as follows: Orchestral selections; songs, Messrs 11. A. Swarbrick and P. J. Randle (Cambridge): humour, Messrs U. Noonan and G. Ball; monologues, Mr Bert Hey; selections, by Orphans’ Choir.
