RECORD ESTABLISHED. WIN FUH D. .-HAW. The cycle road race from the Hamilton East Post Ufllce to Tarnuhere and back, a distance of li miles, conducted by Hie Hamilton Amateur sports Club on .Saturday, resulted in a win for D. Shaw. R. McOnie was second and i. I.aldington third. S. Middlemiss gained fastest time, making the distance in 26mins. 45sees., thus breaking the course record of 27 minutes held by 11. Hawkins.
Next Saturday the Hamilton 50-mii road race will be held.
