CELEBRATIONS ENDED. EXPECTATION OF CIIANOES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WEL L 1 N.G TO N, Satu rcla y. The Apia correspondent of the United Press Association, writing- on August 27, says: “ Samoa was never quieter than at present. The celebrations are over and people have' returned to their villages. Committees are busily engaged arranging for tlio election ot‘ l’alpules and considering matters arising out of tho Goodwill Mission. The Samoans are looking forward to important changes in administration in September after the New Zealand Government has had lime to consider the report of the Mission.”
