RIFLE SHOOTING.

MATAMATA CLUB. A SUCCESSFUL YEAR. (Special to Times.) MATAMATA, Sunday. The annual meeting of the .Matamata Rifle Club xvas fairly well attended and the report for the year revealed a most satisfactory position. In spite of* the fact that flic limitation of the Government grant had caused an additional expenditure of £ 18 for ammunition which did not appear last year, a credit balance of £l3 was shown. The Easter meeting had proved very successful and as a result or a meeting of riflemen the executive had deckled to make the fixture a two-da.v one tilts vear.
