THE AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY LLOYD. United Press A**nr.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. MELBOURNE, Sept. 6. In the Australian and New Zealand cycling championship ,100 miles) today, the placings were:—Lloyd, 1; Moritz, 2; Sturbenrauch (Victoria), 3. Time, 4h 58m 465.
The two New Zealand competitors did not finish. H. G. Watson (scratch) experienced trouble in the hilly sections arid dropped out 33 miles after the start. A. X. Ralston was on a seven minutes’ handicap, and dropped out early. Lloyd won by two miles.
