The annual point-to-point meet held on the property of Mr A. J. Swayne at Fencourt. on Saturday, marked the official closing or the Waikato Hunt club’s season, and an exceptionally large crowd gathered to follow the races. Considering recent weather, the going was surprisingly good, and with the points arranged so as to allow 0 view of the entire course, the meet was altogether most successful. Bright sunshine and a mild wind favoured the opening, but later heavv showers fell. Concluding results were as follows : LADIES’ BTEEPLECHASE. ~. '"Hes; minimum weight 9.7. -' M 1 ii). Miss C.
