VICTORIAN CHAMPIONSHIP WIN FOR TITLE-HOLDER. United Presa Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. MELBOURNE, Sept. 6. In the final of the Victorian amateur golf championship to-day the title was retained by H. Williams, who defeated M. J. Ryan, 4 and 3. Williams won the first hole and held the advantage throughout. He was five up at the end of the morning round.
