An inquest was opened to-day on Gun Dick Kee. a Chinese. aged ‘75, who was tound dying on the highway be—tween Otakl and Te Horo on June (5. apparently from injuries sustained through being struck by a motor vehicle. A hospital doctor gave evidence that the cause or death was cerebral haemorrhage. Dr. Milne, of Otakl. Mid he was called to a. hill beyond Otaki Bridge. but. when he got there he could find no injured person. Later the deceased was brought to his sur—gery by several Chinese. .\l. A, Richards.
