FIRE IN AUSTRALIA.
SEVEN SHOPS DESTROYED. MAIN STREET OF TOWN SWEPT. ' United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. SYDNEY, July 23. Fire swept the main street of the North Uoast town of Woodburn to-day. Seven shops and garages, together with their contents, were destroyed. The townspeople fought for more than lour hours to save the town from destruction. The' heat was so fierce that many people collapsed. The llames were quelled only after the residents of other townships had responded to a call for aid.
