R, McKenzie. Ltd..‘ received at a meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council meeting last evening} The Mayor, Mr J. R. Fow,-pointed out. that the council did not issue licenses to itinerant musicians coming into the town. but ONeFEd no objec—tion it they moved on within two days. 'l‘ho musieiuns, therefore. had no stnnding or permission and if any dimeulty occurred they could be moved on immediate'y. Several councillors commented on the nulsanee that the recent street singer had proved and condemned his hnblt of taking his not around these in the street. Mr Fmv pointed out that taking the. hat. around was not. permitted and that the singer in question had been asked to mow, on. No urtion “as taken.
