Members showed con—- ' siderable interest in the proposal It being decided to leave the matter over for discussion by certain members ' who were also keen sportsmen. and ‘ members of the Acclimatisation ‘ Society. ‘ Several members referred to the growing menace of dogs and cattle ‘ straying on the roads. The matter is ' to ‘be brought under the notice of the Borough Council. The matter of band programmes in the Tourist Domain was referred to, and it was decided to tako steps to have the. pipe band render programmes there, alternating with the brass band, which up to now had been the only band to play in the grounds,
