(To the Editor.) ‘ Sim—Judging; by the number of illeople who use the footpath—ol' is it ta bicycle ti'ack?—alongslde the rail—‘way line from Seddon Road crossing, I think it must be a great convenience. it, however, is too dark to use at ‘nighl. i know several people who would not on any account come along there after dark, and as quite a num—ber of them come through to Devon Road that way I suggest that. a light be placed at the and of that road, which is very necessary. this bolus, in my opinion, the worstvlit area about town. Perhaps some of those responsible would take a walk along there some night and they can see (if they bring a torch} for themselves.—l am, em. LET THERE BE LIGHT. Hamilton, July 17.
