Viscount Bledisloe and Lord Hirst are associated with an appeal to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Mr Joseph Chamberlain on July 8, when a meeting at Albert Hall will inaugurate a memorial fund to enable a sustained campaign throughout. the Empire, in support or his Imperial ideals and mission. and also the need‘ for increasing the Empire‘s co-opera—-tion in trade, migration, detence‘ and foreign policy, for which they are seeking the co-operation of leaders of industry and agriculture at Home and overseas. and of all who realise that Im—perial strength and unity are‘ essen‘ial.
