Indications are for fair to overcast weather to-day with lower temperatures; westerly winds prevailing, later veering to the north; unsettled conditions following. The Rainfall. Rainfall for 24 hours ended 9 o’clock this morning, .OOln. Rainfall for previous 2 4 hours, .00in. Total rainfall for June to dale, .15in. Average rainfall for June, to date, 5.1 Din. Rainfall for year to date. 26.27in. Average yearly rainfall. 46.32 m. SPECIAL FORECAST. (By Govt. Meteorologist.) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WaikatoThames Valley Is as follows: Forecast: Moderate northerly winds, later freshening. Weather fair and mild, but clouds increasing and later scattered rain likely. Seas moderate. General inference: An an-ti-cyclone still covers the North Inland, but is moving slowly eastwards and a depression lies in a north to south direction over the Tasman Sea.
