The New Zealand team for the Olympic Games, sailed from Sydney by the Mongolia for London. “ This is our full team. with the exception of Jack Lovelock, New Zealand Rhodes scholar, who will join us when we get to London," said Arbvuthnott. Loveiock specialises in 15,000 metre races. “ At the moment I am acting in the capacity of manager." Arbuthnott added. “When we set to England, Dr. Porritt, a New Zeaiender, who lives in London. will take charge." “ On the Tasman crossing not one member of the team was seasick. That is a good start. We will do the best ‘we can to keep fit, in the circumstances. We have not gone on to special diet. “All the members or the team are making their first trip abroad. with the exception of myself. I came from Scotland originally, and it feels like going home.”
