The Council or the Royal Society for* Hie Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has been unable to reach a definite conclusion as to whether big game fishing is cruel, because of the variance of expert opinion. The Council says that in any rase no legal action Is at present possible, and even if the law w. :v amended lo include fish «> animals it would not applx to lishin- t»p>ond Ihe three-mHe limil. therefore it would be «»r no practical value.
