Arnold Soderman (35), who was found guilty and sentenced to death on a charge of murdering four girls, has lodged an appeal against his conviction. UNIVERSITY FASCISTS. USE OF HALL REFUSED. LONDON, Feb. 20. The Oxford Council refused the use of the Town Hall for a meeting of University Fascists, at which Sir Oswald Mosley was a speaker. The University representative on the council said he had no objection to people playing about with silly little armies and salutes, but he did not want a repetition of the scenes at the last Fascist meeting in the hall. He did not want to see the careers of young and excitable students ruined by mixing up in free fights. REQUEST BY NAZIS. PROTEST AGAINST PROHIBITION, BERLIN, Feb. 20.
