FAIR AT CLAUDELANDB. RULING RATES REALISED. A buoyant market for the morning sales was experienced at the annua! Hamilton Romney Ram Fair Avhich was held at the selling pavilion. Olaudelands, to-day. A total of 1200 rams was catalogued, comprising entries from prominent Waikato breeders. The buying benches Avere fully occupied and a persistent enquiry was shOA\*n throughout the sales. The auctioneers in conjunction Aver© the NeAv Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Company. Limited. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, and the Farmers’ Co-operatiA-e Auctioneering Company. Limited. The best sale of the day Avas in the stud sheep section, a loAv-set, wellAAoolled ram on account of Messrs F. R. Seddon and Son selling under animated competition at 25gns to Messrs Cory-Wright Bros., of Coromandel. Flock rams met Avith a steady sale, prices ranging to 12gns. for superior entries. This price Avas realised for tAvo * shear rams from Messrs Blair and Hunter, of Maxwell, and for tAvo attraetiA-e rams from Messrs F. R. Seddon and Son, of Hamilton. The buyers Avere Mr R. J*aulsen, of Glen Murray and Mr A. J. T. Tapp. Best lots met the market at prices ranging from 8 4 to 12gns., good sorts from 7 to Bgns. and ordinary from 4 to 6Agns.
