WAGE RESTORATION
CHRISTCHURCH TRAMWAYMEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. A decision to restore Ihe remaining 5 per cent, of the 10 per cent, wages cut. imposed in 1031, lias been readied between the Christchurch Tramway Board and various unions concerned. Tho agreement will affect Ihe majority of the board’s employees, and will cost between £OOOO and £7HOO annually.
