CHILDREN’S PARTY.
RETURNED SOLDIERS’ FUNCTION. A Christmas party organised by the Waikato Returned Soldiers’ Association was attended by 250 children at the State Theatre Cabaret, this afternoon. The parly was given for children of members of 1 tic Waikato Association from various parts of the district. An enjoyable lime was spent by Ihe children in games organised by Mr .1. Rlarkliall and Mrs 11. CL Ross. An exhibition of conjuring feats by Mr J. Rollon delighted Die audience. Refreshments were served during the afternoon and each child was presented with a toy before llie conclusion of the function.
