TWO THEFT CHARGES.
REMANDED TO MONDAY. Two charges of theft were preferred against Robert Brigham (29) before Mr G. W. Hyde, J.P., in the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, this morning. Accused was charged with stealing an oilskin overcoat valued at £1 17s Gd, the property of Mr John Joseph Vincent at Brunlwood, on December 1-1, and also wild stealing three sparkplugs, eight gallons of benzine, one tin and a crescent spanner of a total value of £1 5s Gd, the property of Mr Eric Rupert Wilkinson at Ngahiijapouri on November 8.
On the application of DetectiveSergeant J. Thompson, accused was remanded lo appear on Monday.
