MANAGER’S REPORT. CAUGHEY UNLIKELY TO PLAY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WE L LIN C TON, Thursday. The following cable from Mr V. R. Meredith, manager of the All Blacks, was read at last night’s meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union Management Committee: —‘-‘ft Ireland. Everything is very satisfactory there. Gaughey badly strained bis knee at Aberdare and it is doubtful if will be able In play against Wales. Nothing else to report. Things are running smoothly." Seasonal greetings were received from Mr Meredith, the captain, Manchester, and members of the team.
