Lady Ponsonby, widow of the late Treasurer to the King, arrived at Wellington by the Rangitane on Wednesday, to spend a holiday in New Zealand-
Lady Myers, of Wellington, returned to New Zealand by the Rangitane on Wednesday after an extended visit to England.
Mrs N. G. Sutherland, of Hamilton, has left by car for a visit to Taranaki and Wellington.
Miss Elspeth McNicol has returned from Sydney to her home in Hamilton for a holiday of some weeks.
The Misses J. M. and K. I. BarnsGraham, of Gisborne, returned to Wellington from London by the Rangitane on Wednesday.
Miss Iris Lee Martin has arrived from Wellington to spend Christmas at her home at Matangi. She will leave on Boxing Day to take up a position at the Greymouth Hospital.
Parents and friends of students of the Waikato School of Art are invited to the annual breaking-up ceremony to bo held in the studio tills evening.
