HIKUTAIA STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale at Hikutaia on Wednesday, when a medium yarding of cattle was penned. A fair entry of beef was not so keenly sought, values having a slightly easing tendency. Boner cows and potter bulls sold on a par with late rates. Quotations: —Heavy fat cows, second quality, £3 15s 6d to £4; medium. £3 10s to £3 15s; lighter fat cows and heifers, £2 18s to £3 8s; tillable cows, £2 os to £2 15s; fresh conditioned cows, 38s to £2 4s; heavy boner cows, 32s to 375; lighter, 27s to 31s; potter bulls, £3 12s 6d to £4 12s Gd; Jersey heifers, close to profit, £3 to £3 10s, Pigs: Slips, 14s Gd to 17s Gd; wean ers, 12s to 14s 6d. Sheep: Woolly fat hoggets, 25s Gd.
