ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.

FALL ON TO BARROW. DEATH OF WORKMAN. PALMERSTON X., Friday. A fatal accident of an unusual nature occurred in Hie Milson Airport, Hie victim being Mr Patrick Terrence Moore, aged 48, of Palmerston North. He was wheeling a barrow when lie tripped and fell on to it, injuring bis abdomen, lie died in hospital shortly afterwards. Mr Moore was a married man with three children.

An inquest was opened this evening betoio the district coroner. Mr C. F. Collins. Evidence was given by Mr Hartnell that the child was playing yesterday afternoon with a neighbour's two children, when she, fell. She complained of a pain in the back. Witness conveyed her to a private hospital. The inquest was adjourned sine die.
