ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
FALL ON TO BARROW. DEATH OF WORKMAN. PALMERSTON X., Friday. A fatal accident of an unusual nature occurred in Hie Milson Airport, Hie victim being Mr Patrick Terrence Moore, aged 48, of Palmerston North. He was wheeling a barrow when lie tripped and fell on to it, injuring bis abdomen, lie died in hospital shortly afterwards. Mr Moore was a married man with three children.
SUMNER DROWNING. VICTIM IDENTIFIED. GIIHISTCHURGI I, Friday. Tlic bather drowned at Sumner yesterday lias been identified as Mr Dabriel Boulerev, aged Si, of SI. Asaph at noon to-day. Mr Boulerev was a member of the Soulli Brighton Surf Club, lie was a iirofieienl, swimmer and a frequent, visitor to the beaches. DEATH OF CHILD. FALL HIRING I'LAY. \V HAN G A B EI. Friday. The death oeeurred in a private hospital Ibis evening of N'gaire Gladys Hartnell, aged live, daughter of Mr and Mrs 11. i',. Hartnell, of Waiotira. An inquest was opened this evening betoio the district coroner. Mr C. F. Collins. Evidence was given by Mr Hartnell that the child was playing yesterday afternoon with a neighbour's two children, when she, fell. She complained of a pain in the back. Witness conveyed her to a private hospital. The inquest was adjourned sine die.
