NEW FIRE STATION.
PROPOSAL AT MORRINSVILLE. CORNER SECTION ACQUIRED. (Special to Times.) MORRINSVILLE, Saturday. A decisioh to purchase a quarteracre section at the corner of Studholme and Anderson Streets, Morrinsville, to toe the site for a new Are station has been reached toy the Morrinsville Fire Board. The site is regarded by the hoard as toeing admirably suited for the purpose. Alternative sketch plans for a new fire station are to toe prepared for the board next meeting. The board has also decided to take over most of the Morrinsville Volunteer 'Fire Brigade's equipment, exoluding the Are' engind* at a valuation -of £265.
