LARDER EVENING.
FOR MISS EDNA NELSON. A very pleasant evening was spent in the Frankton West Hall on Monday evening when the Church Committee and Social Committee tendered a larder evening to Miss E. Nelson and Mr A. Hall, whose marriage will take place to-day. The evening was spent in games and dancing. Mrs J- P. Coulter supplied the dance music and Mr H. Hall was M.C.. After supper Mr G. Vernall, on behalf of the Church and Social Committee, called on Miss Nelson and Mr Hall to open the many gifts. Mr Hull suitably responded. Miss Nelson was wearing a frock of jade green moss crepe and silver. There were about 150 present and the evening was brought to a close with the singing of Auld Lang Syne.
