TE AWAMUTU STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Compay, Ltd., report having held their usual triweekly stock sale at Te Awamutu on Thursday, December 12, as under. Full market rates ruled for all classes. Sheep.—A medium yarding. Fat wethers made 245; woolly hoggets, 24s 3d to 255; light woolly ewes, 15s 7d; fat lambs, 20s to 21s; light and unfinished, 15s to 16s 6d. A line of 192 store black-faced woolly lambs made 14s sd; cull ditto, 12s 3d; shorn store ewes, 8s to 10s; a line ol' 132 aged woolly ewes, with 100 per cent, lambs at 12s, ah counted. Cattle.'— A good yarding. Prime light beef sold at advanced rates, while ordinary quality sold at late rates. Quotations: -Medium-heavy baconers, £2 12s; lighter, £2 7s to £2 10s; light, £2 3s to £2 7s; heavy porkers, £1 17s to £2 Is; light, £1 13s to £1 17s. Store pigs: Large stores, 29s 6d to 365; medium, 22s to 28s; large slips, 19s 6d to 20s; medium, 15s to 18s; good weaners, 9s 6d to 11s; small and poorer quality, 4s to 5s Cd. MORRINSVILLE SALE. The New Zealand, Loan and Mercantile Agency 'Company, Limited, ‘Hamilton, report on their weekly Morrinsville stock sale, held yesterday, as follows: — Although our yarding was a lighter one than customary it included several pens of first-class beef cows and heifers. The usual entry of medium and store Jerseys came forward and in addition many potter bulls. Cqmpeiltion for the fat cattle was brisk, with resultant prioes comparing favourably with late quotations. Light fat and Jersey cows were keenly sought after and these maintained the high standard of values current. Bulls met with a very eager reception selling readily at an Improvement if anything. A few pigs did not vary in prioes. We quote: Good fat Polled Angus and Hereford cows, £5 10s to £6 6s; good quality Polled Angus heifers, £5 15s to £6 -6s; medium to good quality fat Jersey cows, £4 6s to £5 7s 6d; light quality butchers' cattle, £3 10s to £4 19s; killablc conditioned, £2 12s 6d to £3 ss; quality store cows, fit las to £2 9s; plain, £1 5s lo £1 15s; heavy hulls, £S IDs to £9 ss; medium pptter bulls, £6 10s to £8: others, to £4 15s; medium porkers, to £1 14s; store pigs, 18s to £1 4s; slips, 12s to 17s 6d; weaners, lo 11s.
