BOOM COLLAPSES.
FARM LABOURER INJURED. FRACTURE OF PELVIS. A fractured pelvis was suffered by a farm labourer, Allan Davidson Donald, aged 17, as the result of an accident during haymaking operations on the farm of Mr L. V. Bellingham, at Taupiri. this morning. Donald, who is employed as a sharemilker on Mr Bellingham's farm, was working on a stack when one of the. guy ropes of the stacker broke and the heavy boom fell on him. He was removed to the Waikato Hospital where Ids condition tins afternoon was regarded as satisfactory.
