The Hon. T. Bloodworth, M.L.C., of Auckland, was in Hamilton last evening.

The Rev. J. L. Gray, who lias been in New Zealand on furlough from the Punjab Mission, India, for some months, will leave Auckland by the Aorangi on December 23 on his return to India.

The resignation of Dr T. 11. Knights from the medical staff of the Waikato Hospital was accepted at yesterday’s meeting of the Waikato Hospital Board. Dr Knights will leave shortly for England.

'The Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour, director of Hie Friendly Road radio station, Auckland, will leave for Sydney by the Monowai to-day in connection with Friendly .Road activities in Australia, lie will return in about a month’s time.

Superintendent D. .1. Cummings, formerly superintendent of police in Christchurch, has taken up the position of superintendent of police in Wellington, tilling the vacancy caused by the recent retirement of Superintendent A. T. Emerson.

Mr Zane Grey and a parly of seven sailed from San Francisco on Wednesday by the Mariposa on their way to - fish on Hie Australian coast. They will lie joined a month later by cameramen and technicians, with the object of making a feature picture, including Australian scenes.
