SHOCKING INJURY. WORKMAN LOSES LEG. ACCIDENT WHILE FENCING. AUCKLAND, Friday. Struck by a fencing post which was oeing skidded across a gully at Hunua, a bushman, Luke Keaney, aqed' 53, single, and residing at Papakura, had his right leg almost severed. After a journey over rough country he was brought to the Auckland Hospital yesterday afternoon, and later the leg was amputated. His condition to-day is serious. Keaney was helping to erect a fence on the farm of' Mr F. Trail, in hilly country. He was working at the receiving end of the wire and apparently one post was sent down while his back was turned, and crashed into his leg at high speed inflicting a shocking injury. THE ALL BLACKS.
