DROWNED IN TANK
LITTLE BOY’S DEATH. ROTORUA, Thursday. A drowning accident occurred al Awahou, about 10 miles from Rotorua, laic Ibis afternoon, when the little son of Mr and Mrs Charles Jackson, o Central Road, was found drowned in an uncovered water tank, about 20 yards from I lie bark of their home. AL about, five o'clock Mrs Jackson left the house to milk some cows am! was followed by her son Barry, aged about five years.
Tiie mother la'er noticed that tinchild was missing and as a result of a search he was discovered lying in the tank. Artificial respiration was attempted, but without success and when Dr. H. Dorset was summoned from Rotorua the child was dead.
