TAUPIRI CLUB. This week the Tauplri Croquet Club’s A team has played two challenge matches for the South Auckland Croquet Association’s Silver Challenge Cup, and was successful in winning both. Details were as follows, Taupiri names mentioned first:— Against Ngaruawahia.—Mesdames R E. Hunter and A. H. Shepherd 26 and 26, v. Mesdames J. Hennessey and W, Hughes, 12 and 17; Mesdames G. Horwood and A. W. Buss 26 and'l9, v. Mesdames W. Patterson and J. Heron, 17 and 10. Total points: Taupiri 97, Ngaruawahia 56. Against Huntly. Mesdames Hunter and Shepherd 26 and 26, v. .Mesdames Dodds and Spiers 11 and 2; Mesdames Horwood and Buss 26 and 26 v. Mesdames Meek and Douglas 10 and 10. Total points: Taupiri 104, Huntly 33.
