Public Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Waikato County Council will be held at, the Council Chambers, Grey Street, Hamilton East, on Tuesday the 14th day of January. 1936, at 10 a.m., for the purpose of confirming a resolution passed by way of Special Order at a Special Meeting of the Council held on the 12th day of November, 1935, making a by-law to be known as “The Waikato County Council Building By-law” and to ilx the date when such By-law shall come into force. The object and .purport of the said By-law is as follows; 1. To prescribe the (minimum area and frontage of land on which a dwelling may be erected. 2- To prescribe the minimum airspace adjacent to any dwelling that shall be kept free of buildings or other structures, and generally for preventing the overcrowding of land with buildings. 3. To regulate the erection and construction of buildings, including llie lighting, ventilation and air-space of rooms for human habitation. 4. To provide that, in certain deiined areas in the County, buildings shall not be erected except under permit. 5. To prescribe fees for the examination of plans and inspection of buildings. 6. To provide penalties for breaches of the By-law, A copy of the proposed By-law is deposited at the office of the Council and remains open to the inspection of the public during office hours from the 14th day of December, 1935, until the ■said 14tii day of January, 4 936.
